Saint Raphael Annual Bazaar

An annual event for St Raphael parish and a major fund-raising source for their school is the annual Bazaar.

For four days every August, the parish parking lot / schoolyard is transformed into a midway of games of chance, games of skill, raffles and auctions.

The grounds also feature live entertainment, refreshments, full course dinners, a flea market, BINGO, and of course, rides for the kiddies!

While several of the raffles and auctions are sold during the full duration of the Bazaar, with winners drawn on Sunday evening, a highlight of each evening's festivity is the nightly drawing for a piece of the big $10,000 raffle and the drawing of the nightly 50/50 raffle.

The tradition of the Bazaar is so well established that many parishoners, some long since moved away from the area, return each year for the event.

Council #3530 is proud to be part of this grand Bazaar tradition -- Through direct sponsorship; sales of KofC fundraisers on the grounds; chairing the poker tables and 50/50; by contribution to the labor of setting up and tearing down the stands; and for a number of years the general Bazaar Chairman was our brother and Past Grand Knight, Mike Cherubino(†).
